Kosofe Sports Association (KSA) is a community-driven organization committed to discovering, developing, and promoting sporting talent in Kosofe Local Government and beyond.
Founded with the belief that sports can transform lives, we use the power of football and other sporting activities to unite communities, inspire young people, and create opportunities for success on and off the field.
OUR JOURNEY
Our story began in 2013, when we were formally known as the Ikosi-Ketu Local Organizing Committee. That year, we launched our first competition — the Ramadan Cup — with just four teams.
In 2015, we evolved into the Ketu Football Association, expanding our reach and hosting more community-based tournaments.
By 2023, with our growth in size, vision, and impact, we transformed into Kosofe Sports Association — an organization with a wider scope, more inclusive programs, and a stronger commitment to grassroots sports development.

Grassroots Football Competitions – Providing a platform for talented players to be seen by scouts, clubs, and sponsors.

International Links – Connecting with clubs, academies, and sports organizations worldwide to create career pathways for our players.

K.S.A FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT (RAMADAN CUP)
Bringing together of young talent in the heart of Kosofe land, to showcase their sporting talents.
OBAS CUP
An event hosted to honour all the royal fathers in Kosofe land, this is a medium to bring unity to the land.
H-GUNWA TOURNAMENTS
K.S.A cohost the event in collaboration with H-Gunwa, this event is created to bring confidence to the young and striving youth in the society at large.
KETU GET TOGETHER
K.S.A collaborates with Ketu youth to host a yearly event which comprises of boxing, checkers, snooker, table tennis, ayo, scarbble etc.
Brief History of Ramadan Cup
The Ramadan Cup is one of the flagship tournaments of Kosofe Sports Association, and it holds a special place in our history.
We began the Ramadan Cup in 2013 with just four teams.
In those early days, the format was simple — the teams played against each other, and the top two advanced to the final showdown. That first edition not only brought the community together during the holy month of Ramadan but also set the foundation for what would become one of Kosofe’s most anticipated annual sporting events.
Over the years, the Ramadan Cup has grown in size, quality, and impact. It is more than just a football competition — it’s a training ground for emerging talents, a platform for discipline and teamwork, and a celebration of unity within our community.
Today, the Ramadan Cup continues to inspire and nurture players, giving them the exposure and experience they need to take their game to the next level.
